The Seventh Day - the Mark of God's Authority

"According to the Bible, God created this world in six days. God then sanctified the seventh day and made it a weekly reminder that He is God. After the fall, observance of the day continued to work as a reminder about the true God, the one who had created the world and who loved it so much that He gave His only begotten Son to redeem it. Salvation is a gift offered to every human being. And by keeping the seventh day holy we show that we acknowledge God's authority, that we love Him back, and that we want to obey him. If He is the Lord of our lives, we will also accept His law and His guidance. Love and obedience goes together."
